LBRK LLC (“LBRK,” “we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you use the Pretzel mobile app and related services (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, or platforms (e.g., Apple, Google, social media). Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
Our Services are intended for individuals 13 years or older. You must be 18 or older to make purchases or subscriptions. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and if we become aware, we will delete it.
Account Information: name, email, and authentication credentials (via Firebase, Apple, or Google).
Preferences: focus areas, caution areas, experience level, notification/voiceover/transition settings.
Support/Feedback: messages or content you send us.
Device & Usage Data: device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, interaction data, diagnostics.
Cookies/SDKs: identifiers for authentication, analytics, performance, fraud prevention.
If you connect Apple Health, we may read/write limited categories (e.g., mindful minutes, stretches completed) solely to provide app functionality.
Apple Health / HealthKit. We only access Apple Health data with your explicit permission to provide in-app features you request. We do not use Apple Health data for marketing, advertising, data brokerage, or profiling, and we do not sell this data. Apple Health data is not combined with other data for targeted advertising. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
Purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit2). We receive limited metadata (e.g., subscription status, expiration date), not your full payment details.
We use information to:
Provide and improve Pretzel’s features.
Personalize content and remember preferences.
Authenticate users and secure accounts.
Analyze performance, fix bugs, develop new features.
Send service messages and respond to inquiries.
Support offline use with local caching.
Comply with legal obligations.
With consent, read/write Apple Health data for progress tracking.
We may share information with:
Service Providers: Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage), analytics, crash reporting, hosting.
Platform Providers: Apple (StoreKit2, Apple Health), Google (Sign-In).
Legal/Compliance: to comply with law or protect rights.
Business Transfers: if LBRK undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Do Not Sell or Share. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CPRA. If we ever introduce ad tech that could be considered “sharing,” we will provide a Do Not Sell or Share control in-app and on our website.
If you are outside the U.S., your data may be transferred and stored in the U.S. or other countries.
International Transfers. When transferring personal data outside the EEA/UK/CH, we use safeguards such as the EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses, plus additional measures where required.
Retention. We keep account data while your account is active and as needed for reporting purposes thereafter, unless otherwise requested. Crash/analytics logs are typically retained for 24 months. Subscription metadata is retained as needed for fraud prevention and accounting. Apple Health data follows your in-app settings and can be deleted by you or upon request.
We use technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect data. No method is 100% secure.
Security Notices. If we believe the security of your personal information has been compromised, we may notify you by email and/or in-app notice consistent with applicable law.
Pretzel is not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. Please don’t send us protected health information via email or support channels.
You may request to:
Know categories of data we collect, use, or disclose.
Delete personal data (with exceptions).
Correct inaccurate data.
Opt out of “sales” or “sharing” (we don’t sell/share).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You may:
Access, correct, delete, or port your data.
Object to or restrict processing.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Legal Bases (EEA/UK).
Contract: provide account and core features.
Legitimate Interests: security, fraud prevention, analytics, improvements.
Consent: Apple Health data, some marketing.
Legal Obligation: accounting, compliance.
Verifying Requests. We may ask for reasonable info (e.g., email confirmation, device signal) to verify identity. Verification data is only used to process the request.
Cookies/SDKs. We use limited SDKs for authentication, crash reporting, and analytics. You can disable analytics in Settings (if available). Core SDKs needed for functionality and security may still operate.
Pretzel is not directed at children under 13. If we discover data from a child under 13, we will delete it. Parents may contact admin@lbrk.group.
